Rhinoplasty

Why Is Rhinoplasty Performed?
Rhinoplasty is performed for cosmetic and functional reasons. Breathing difficulties can be eliminated with rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasty can be performed for significant nasal deformities. Rhinoplasty is also effective for addressing problems inside the nose, invisible from the outside. After rhinoplasty;- Nostrils are re-shaped.
- The dimension of the nose is readjusted to its ideal size.
- The nasal bridge is straightened.
- The nasal tip is readjusted for an aesthetic appearance.
- The nasal angle is modified.
How Is Rhinoplasty Performed?
Before the rhinoplasty procedure, the physician examines the patient physically followed by a decision on how the rhinoplasty will be performed. Per the case of the patient, the doctor will reposition the skin layer, bones and cartilage tissues. Rhinoplasty can entirely change the facial features. Since the nose is centrally located on the face even the slightest changes can easily be noticed. For this reason the doctor will determine the nasal shape that will best suit the patient’s face and will perform a tailor-made procedure for the patient. As with all surgical procedures, there are risks associated with rhinoplasty as well. Following rhinoplasty the following may be observed;- Bleeding,
- Adverse reaction to anesthesia,
- Infections.
- Thickness of the skin,
- The durability of the cartilage structure at the nasal tip
- Physical features.
